I am Fr. Nonie Dolor, the director of the Lipa Archdiocesan Commission on Social communication and Mass Media.  I am presently the General Manager of the Pater Putativus Publishing House,  the printing press of the Archdiocese.  I am a practicing media person since 1969, starting out as an announcer at a radio station in Batangas City.  When the Archdiocese bought an existing radio station,  I was asked to help as the Station Manager for the then Station Director, Msgr. Alfredo Madlangbayan.  I became a priest in 1981.  I have not yet been assigned to any parish — I work fulltime in administering/managing the Archdiocesan media at the same time having been assigned as formator in the seminary, and one-time director of the catechetical ministry, and substituting for parish priests who went on leave, on sabbatical or for other reasons.  In 2000, after putting up the FM station in 1999,  my request to be relieved from media administration was finally approved.  I was already working as chaplain at De La Salle Lipa at that time.  But in 2006,  I was asked to go back to media administration.  In 2008 I was asked to take over the management of the printing press.  

Presently,  I am editor-in-chief of our monthly newspaper, Ulat Batangan;  administrator of the Ranch property of the Archdiocese, tasked to manage and pastor the housing projects of the Archdiocese, called Villa San Jose.  I am also planning the programming for our soon-to-be-installed FM radio,  where we will resurrect our AM programs,  concentrating on Evasngelization and promotion of total human development.  We call this project, “AM on FM”, inasmuch as we have lost our AM radio in 2002.  

Incidentally,  I still teach in the seminary,  this time at the Theology Department.  My subject:  Media for Evangelization!
